A parishioner gave me the following intro from parish they had visited. It is called “Celebrating Children at our Parish!!

To parents of our young children, may we suggest:

Relax! God put the wiggle in children; don’t feel you have to suppress it in God’s house.
Sit toward the from where it’s easier to see and hear.
Quietly explain the parts of the Mass.
Sing hymns, pray, and voice the responses. Children learn liturgical behavior by copying you.
If you need to leave Mass with your child, plase feel free to to to the cry room, but please come back.

Remember that the way we welcome children in church directly affects the way they respond to Churchm to God and to Christ.

Let them know that they are at home in this liturgical gathering.

To the members of the Parish

A smile of encouragement is always welcome to parent with small, active children.

Found on Facebook but I was able track down a source

From the bulletin of

To which I add Jesus’ words. MT 19:14 But Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
