Pentecost in Paris – Vincentian Family

by | Jun 8, 2014 | Vincentian Family

The Vincentian Family Collaborative Action Program (VFCAP) 2014 began its first day the afternoon of Pentecost in Paris. Fifty three people from many countries are participating including the program’s Design Team and the VF Collaboration Commission.

After the welcome, the afternoon focused on getting to know one another and the branches of the Vincentian Family. Meeting and speaking to individuals was done in a “speed dating” kind of way where each pair of participants had just one minute to share before the bell rang to signal the need to move to the next person.

Sister Kieran Kneaves gave an overview of the different branches of the Vincentian Family. This was followed by small group time within ones branch of the VF. MISEVI and VMY were a group and the Sisters present formed another group.

After having time to share in the small group, each group presented themselves and the ministries they do to the entire group.  The day concluded with the Pentecost Eucharistic celebration in the mother house chapel.
