My sisters and brothers,
United with Pope Francis and with men and women of good will throughout the world, we, as a Vincentian Family, lift our minds and hearts in prayer for peace in Ukraine.
May the good Lord hear our prayer and may justice and peace prevail throughout Ukraine and Eastern Europe. We pray with confident hope, because we know that the power of the Resurrection is always at work among us.
Fr. Tomaž will now lead our Family in prayer. May the Lord bless his people with peace.
Our Lord and God, you called
Sister Marta Wiecka
to the Company of the Daughters of Charity
to follow your Son
and serve Him in the person of the poor and the sick.
Docile to your call, she followed the path of a Vincentian vocation,
dedicating herself entirely to their service
to the point of giving her life for her neighbor.
We thank you for all
that you have done in the life of your servant.
Lord, through her intercession we ask
that you show us
the power of your love
and grant us the grace
OF AN END TO THE WAR AND THAT PEACE PREVAIL IN UKRAINE
We ask you this
with humility and trust,
if it is according to Your will.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory be to the Father…
O Mary, conceived without sin,
pray for us who have recourse to thee!
Song:
The Blessing
The Lord bless you
And keep you
Make His face shine upon you
And be gracious to you
The Lord turn His
Face toward you
And give you peace
Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen
The Lord bless you
And keep you
Make His face shine upon you
And be gracious to you
The Lord turn His
Face toward you
And give you peace
Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen
May His favor be upon you
And a thousand generations
And Your family and your children
And their children, and their children
May His favor be upon you
And a thousand generations
And your family and your children
And their children, and their children
May His presence go before you
And behind you, and beside you
All around you, and within you
He is with you, He is with you
In the morning, in the evening
In your coming, and your going
In your weeping, and rejoicing
He is for you, He is for you
He is for you, He is for you
He is for you, He is for you
He is for you, He is for you
Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen
May His presence go before you
And behind you, and beside you
All around you, and within you
He is with you, He is with you
In the morning, in the evening
In your coming, and your going
In your weeping, and rejoicing
He is for you
For us in Taiwan it was 3:00 PM , the Hour of Mercy, while it was 9:00 AM in Ukraine when we joined the prayer and the hymn with the young singers praying for God’s Mercy .Thank you AMNHb
We joined as a group at St. John’s and viewed the prayer. May our loving Father protect our brothers and sisters in Ukraine and may our bleed Virgin Mary fill their hearts with hope for a full recovery.
