My family will definitely be celebrating at the mass this morning on EWTN. We have a close connection with Mother Seton.
    1. My Aunt, Sr. Francis Maria Cassidy of St Elizabeth’ss in Morristown NY wrote a play about her ”

    2. My Uncle Rev Joseph L. Cassidy was also involved.

    3. But, even more importantly, my two children are dedicated to her. In 1976 my daughter Sarah was born… June 14. My husband and I had tried for children for several years. On the day Mother Seton was canonized, I was at Mass and I liberally stated” My family has done a lot for you… please now do something for us.” I guess that was brash… but… Nine months to the day our daughter Sarah Elizabeth was born.

    4. My son Seton was born March 4, 1978.

    5. And way way back in about 1945 my aunt Sister Francis Maria Cassidy gave me a little story book about Elizabeth. It was a series of pictures. Over the years it disappeared, but I recall it well

So this is my story. Ihope you really see it
