Black Friday and the Vincentian Family – Currently the Ladies of Charity are among the few in the Vincentian Family benefiting from a kind of partnering with Amazon.

The Ladies of Charity website writes “With Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming soon, please remember to shop with SMILE on Amazon.com as LCUSA gets a percentage of all purchases.”

To get started with AmazonSmile, go to smile.amazon.com. On your first visit to AmazonSmile (before you begin shopping), you need to select Ladies of Charity of the United States as your charitable organization. After that every eligible purchase you make on AmazonSmile will result in a donation to LCUSA. In their search box, type “Ladies of Charity of the United States” and it will pop up on a list. It is listed as “Ladies of Charity of the United States of Ameriaca” (we have written to them about the typo in “America”).

You can use your existing Amazon account on AmazonSmile. The only difference from what you’re used to is that as you shop, you will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages.
