More “Mini-Vinnies” … the next generation

Mini Vinnies in FloridaMore “Mini-Vinnies” … the next generation – On the heels of the post earlier today about the Junior Ladies of Charity heritage trip comes this story about  the commissioning of  the Mini-Vinnie group in Naples, Florida..

On Friday November 7, St. Ann SVdP Mini -Vinnie Youth Group and its officers were commissioned into the Society of St. Vincent dePaul at the conclusion of the Mass 8:30 am Mass. Father Joseph Jocco O.S.F.S. commissioned these students into the Society. Mr. Jay MacDonald, Executive Director of the Naples Council and Paul Gladdys President of the Saint Ann Conference presented the officers with the Society Pins.

This school year 33 students have enrolled in St. Ann’s SVdP Mini-Vinnie Group. The commissioning of the youth group was part of an active weekend which included the school’s fall bazaar and St. Ann Adult Conference’s food drive on Saturdayand Sunday.
