LCUSA is proud to announce that Marilyn Martone, a Lady of Charity in the St. John’s University Association, will deliver the keynote address at the 2014 National Assembly, “Just Care! Vincentian Women in Action.”

Marilyn is a retired professor of moral theology who has combined  professional theological training with her life experiences of 16 years of caring for her daughter who suffered traumatic brain injuries in an accident during her college years and was not supposed to live.

Editorial note: Having served with Marilyn during most of her career in the Department of Theology at St. John’s University I can assure all will be treated to thoughtful, practical reflections rooted in her life experiences not only as a theologian but as a truly devoted wife and mother.
