“Just Care:Vincentian Women in Action” One hundred fifty are gathering for their annual National Assembly in Milwaukee.
Their vision is to assist persons who are vulnerable to move from marginalization and despair to participation and hope. And they commit themselves to do this with charity, humility and simplicity.
The keynoters will address “Persons Aren’t Burdens But Caregiving Can Be Burdensome” (Dr. Marilyn Martone and “Just Care for Workers” (Kim Bobo of Interfaith Workers Justice).
The workshops and other activities promise to provide much food for thought and ACTION.
