Congratulations to Isabelle Chaperon, representative of the International Association of Charities (AIC) to UNESCO, who has just been elected President of the International Catholic Centre for Cooperation with UNESCO (CCIC), of which AIC is an active member. The CCIC brings together more than 40 International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) of Catholic inspiration in the fields of education, science, culture and communication. These INGOs accompany on the ground thousands of people in more than 140 countries, and the CCIC makes their voices heard at UNESCO, always giving a central role to human dignity.
