Sr. Denise LaRock is a Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul and has been working in San Antonio since January 2016. She works with the Interfaith Welcome Coalition (IWC), greeting asylum-seekers at the bus station and providing backpacks with donations from churches. She bases her work on the words of the Bible regarding foreigners.
