Youth and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (USA)

by | Oct 4, 2018 | News, Society of St. Vincent de Paul

As the Synod on Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment continues in Rome, thousands of youth in the USA are discerning their personal calls in the world of the poor.

The involvement of Youth and Young Adults is an ongoing process that began with the beginning of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul with Frederic Ozanam and his friends. It is the responsibility of all people in the Society to collaborate and brainstorm with the young people who are the future of the Society.

The Synod’s “brainstorming” is something you’ll want to keep up on, as is the Society’s news on youth and young adults. Follow SVDP Young Adults USA on Facebook and Instagram.

The USCCB will be posting on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. . . throughout the Synod during the month of October. Follow them at @USCCB, and hashtag #Synod2018. Catholic News Service will also be reporting (see their coverage), as will other collaborators and media outlets.
