North American Vincentian Family Gathering 2017 #VFG2017

Over 200 members of our Vincentian Family (including a large number of young adult participants!) are gathered in San Antonio, Texas for the 2017 North American Vincentian Family Gathering.

Themed, “I was a stranger and you welcomed me…” (Matthew 25:35), brief highlights reported thus far by Sr. Julie Cutter include:

  • Telling and hearing stories about being a stranger and being welcomed around the tables (using the model of pastoral circle).
  • Hearing Yessenia Vazquez (Guatemala) and Yahannes Bohta (Eritrea) sharing their journeys and experiences as an immigrant and refugee
  • The workshops on diverse topics.
