LCUSA – Prayerful Support for the Community of San Bernardino
It was with deep sadness and concern that we watched the unfolding of the tragic events in San Bernardino yesterday. One of our newest Associations is located in that diocese. We have been advised by Deni Antoinette Mazingo, Esq., President, that none of the Ladies of Charity were injured or killed in the violence. We acknowledge the fear, shock and sadness that we all feel, but which is felt in a more intense way by the people of San Bernardino.
We offer our condolences and our prayerful support to this community as they grieve the loss and injury of persons in San Bernardino. We encourage and support them as they strive to animate the resilient spirit of their community.
May we remain united in prayer and in works of charity to build communities of peace and justice where violence can not find a home.
Mary Ann Dantuono, President
Ladies of Charity, USA
