Syria-Area-MapI was just alerted to this public link on the international website of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul

“We learned with dismay the kidnapping of several colleagues of Conferences in Hassake (Syria) along with women and children.  At the moment we have no details, also the greatest caution is required on sharing this dramatic information. We ask you to pray and to relay this appeal to prayers around you. St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marillac, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, Blessed Sister Rosalie Rendu,  pray for our brothers and their families and for all those who suffer martyrdom in the name of their faith.”

What has become of the Saint Vincent De, Paul families and their children? I saw a photo of children dressed in orange in a cage. Where did this photo come from? Why isn’t this on CNN or FOX News? When were these families abducted? Did it just happen or did it occur months ago ? Where can I find out more about this story? I am praying for these families.
