History of the Sisters of Charity Federation (Video)

by | Oct 25, 2024 | Formation, Sisters of Charity | 0 comments

The anniversary of the establishment of the Sisters of Charity Federation is on October 27. In this video from the Sisters of Charity – Halifax,

“Sister Maryann Seton Lopiccolo explains the history of how the Sisters of Charity Federation developed, with stories that highlight the realistic and practical face of Charity in our leaders.”

– Sisters of Charity, Halifax YouTube Channel

The details in this video are wonderful and Sister Maryann does a beautiful job of narrating it. Because the picture quality is less than perfect and may not add much value, you might decide to treat it as you would a podcast; listen on your phone or computer. Link to YouTube

There is a transcript available in YouTube if you click on “Show Transcript”; however it’s computer-generated so there are little errors in it… but nevertheless it may be helpful to follow along.

Below the video are some time codes with links so you can jump to specific parts if you wish.
