First Youth Camp in Chomes (Costa Rica)

On Sunday, August 31, 2019, a group of young people from the Parish of San Judas Apostle in Chomes, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, accompanied by counselors, leaders and seminarians, in addition to the support of the pastor and vicar, lived with great enthusiasm the Camp “The desire of the Virgin, she waits for your yes,” under the slogan “Because many are called, but few are chosen,” in the Manzanillo community.

With the participation of young people from the Judas, Manzanillo and even Chira Island communities, a great variety of moments between prayer, friendship exercises, shared lunch, rallies, talks and adoration of the Sacramented Jesus began very early and until the afternoon, which undoubtedly marked the life of each of these young people with an experience that they will remember throughout their lives.

At the end of the day they were invited to join Vincentian Marian Youth, as an option to live a great lifestyle; the answer was excellent and many of them deposited their “yes” at the feet of the Blessed Jesus. With this “Yes” today we are hopeful that the Virgin of the Miraculous Medal continues to intercede for this association that is flourishing again in our country.
