“A poor soul cried, and the Lord has heard her”

These words  from the Bible bring hope. Every person is a poor soul before God. And if poor souls unite in a prayer, the Lord visits them, comes to them and is present among them. The Word of God inspires us, wakens hope within us and urges to call on God in prayer.

Every evening, the warm-up center, where homeless from the railway station area get their shelter during the winter, becomes a sanctuary where a prayer to God Almighty is raised. We pray together with the needy. Our common prayer will continue for nine days. Through the intersession of  Sr. Leopoldina Brandis, we also ask God that a room be assigned for the homeless where we could serve them and where they could renew their confidence in themselves.

We invite you to join our prayer. Fr. Gregory Gay, Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission urges the Vincentian Family to pray together with the needy in this special period near the Lord’s Resurrection. Let us unite in prayer, as poor souls with poor souls.
