On the Pentecost Vigil on the 23rd May 2015 the Vincentian Family Year of Collaboration was opened in Rijeka, Croatia. The solemn mass, celebrated in the Chapel of St. Joseph in the Provincial House of the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul – Zagreb, was preceded by an introductory part in which all four branches of the VF took part. The program included testimonies about different ways of Vincentian collaboration as lived by particular Vincentian Family branches (in this part of Croatia VF includes SC – 90 members, SSVP – 110 members, FdC – 4 members, VMY – 37 members). Also, the VF structure and aim was explained as well as the importance of collaboration, as explained by G. Gregory Gay in his letter introducing the Year of Collaboration.
