The 13 Houses Campaign keeps growing: with the launch of the call for proposals on 30 August 2022, we witnessed the Vincentian desire to strengthen a ‘network of charity’ for homeless people that goes beyond geographical borders.
DePaul University, in partnership with the Ruff Institute on Global Homelessness and the International Journal on Homelessness, hosted what may have been the largest-ever convening on global homelessness.
As Vincentians our first and foremost goal is the relief of poverty across the world. We are ready to act and assist our neighbours in need in every way we can.
This project is managed by a team of SSVP volunteers. There are no paid employees. Team members are assigned a community. They work with members of their own parish to learn about the needs of those living in a specific Arctic Community.
