The members of the Vincentian Family are invited to join the Synodality process of the Church, discerning together, under the Spirit, how to live its Vincentian Charism. Each member, either individually or as a member of a branch, possesses a unique gift of the Spirit. The Second Convocation of the Vincentian Family, November 14-17, will be a space to listen to the diverse voices within the Family, including ordained, married and single lay people, and all those committed to the Vincentian charism. In that diversity we hope to discern what the Lord wants from us in the future.

Dear Member of the Vincentian Family,
May the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus be always with us! The Vincentian Family Executive Board invites you to our Second Vincentian Family Convocation:
“Keeping the Fire Burning: Vincentian Synodality in Action” (14 – 17 November 2024 in Rome, Italy).
This is our time, as a Vincentian Family, to join with the entire Church in a process of synodality, discerning what it means for us to be united by the Spirit in our shared Vincentian Charism. Each of us individually, and as Branches, are uniquely gifted by the Spirit its expression. We gather to listen to one another as we explore what must be done by us as a Family to respond to the ever-changing needs of those whom we serve.
The Spirit speaks to all of us – women and men, lay and ordained, married, single, vowed, belonging to Branches of the Family or intentionally following the spirit of Vincent independently. And in that rich harmony of voices, we will hear with the Lord wishes from us in the years to come.
So – please join us. This is not an invitation to a “privileged few!” but a call to all our Vincentian sisters and brothers to be vehicles through which the Spirit will work in our Family. We are especially asking all those who are servant leaders from around the world to join us in Rome, whether or not you belong to a Branch of the Family. For example, if you are responsible for a Vincentian Family ministry, and its work, are the president of a Vincentian Family National Council, or coordinate formation in the Charism for the Vincentian Family in some capacity, please join us in Rome.
Please remember that in our original letter of invitation, each congregational leader was asked to invite at least one younger member of your community to this Convocation.
If you have not done so already, please complete the attendance form for the afternoon sessions. Thank You!
We look forward to seeing you very soon in Rome! God bless you,
Rev. Joseph V. Agostino, CM
Executive Director
