Dear Members of the Vincentian Family,
The time for our gathering in Rome is coming quickly! If you have not done so already, please be sure to register for it. You can find the information at https://famvin.org/en/famvin-2024/, or on our FamVin app: search “famvin” in your app store or scan the appropriate QR code for your cell phone:
One of the highlights of this experience will be the celebration of the Eucharist on the World Day of the Poor with Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Basilica. We will have special tickets for this event, a perfect closing to our Spirit-filled time of reflection on how we can best continue to serve our sisters and brothers in the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul.
We have just learned that the Church is adopting our Vincentian Family’s “13 Houses” campaign as one of its special projects for the Jubilee Year of 2025! Special recognition of this will be made at the Mass – more information will be given in my detailed letter later this month. We also hope to have an opportunity (as we did in 2020) to have our photo taken with Pope Francis after the Mass – so please plan to stay in Rome long enough after the Mass so that you won’t miss out on the photo op!
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to write us at segreteria@skylinesrl.net or vfo@famvin.org.
See you in Rome!
Fr. Joe
