As the fiscal year concludes, Sister Rena Fernandes shares three key events that were aimed at supporting development efforts in schools across the Congregation through the EPDO (the fundraising department of the Office of Mission Advancement in the Bangalore and Patna Provinces of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in India):

Nazareth School Banakal, Karnataka: On November 17, 2022, a fun fair organized by staff and PTA members promoted teamwork and joy among students. A standout was the “Dum Biryani,” with proceeds supporting the underprivileged. This contribution supports EPDO’s mission, continuing the school’s history of significant aid for children in need.

Nazareth Convent School Vasai’s Fundraising Fiesta: On November 8, 2023, this school’s fundraising event featured food stalls, a dance show, and games, blending community building with aid for impoverished families. This effort underscores the school’s commitment to supporting EPDO’s educational initiatives for the poor.

SCNs’ Funfair at Nazareth School, Chandapura: Held on February 17, 2024, this event was marked by culinary offerings made by the Sisters and staff, including donuts for sale, to fundraise for the school. It underscored the community’s collective effort towards a noble cause. The Nazareth school management expresses appreciation to all involved for their commitment and support.
