October 27 is the anniversary of the Establishment of the Federation of the Sisters of Charity in 1947. We would like to highlight the following online collaborative exhibit, created by the Federation congregations:
SC Federation 75th anniversary online exhibit
Last year was the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of Charity Federation in Emmitsburg, Maryland. To commemorate this milestone, the archivists of the federation congregations selected items for an online exhibit, “A History of the Sisters of Charity Federation in Objects.”
This exhibit, which includes items representing a “moment in time” from each of the federation congregations, complements the collaborative oral histories project, “Charity Speaks,” launched by the archivists last year.
