Greetings from Daughters of Charity International Project Services (DC IPS),
On the second day of bombing in Ukraine one of the Daughters of Charity wrote:
“Our sisters have opened all buildings for the temporary or longer shelter of people who were forced to leave their homes. It’s known that this is associated with a greater expenditure on food, medical supplies, as well as electricity and gas charges, so that our Poor can eat, strengthen, warm and go on a further journey (some Ukrainians, mainly mothers with children, try to cross the Polish border –here we’re also preparing a shelter for them), some don’t know what to do and stop with our sisters at least a little to feel better than wandering among the dangers. We didn’t think that we would live to see this-time of war… but until the end people didn’t expect such an attack on Ukraine from many sides. Sister, if there is any chance for additional support…” -Sister A.
If you can help financially, please send your donation to Daughters of Charity International Project Services. Your donation will be sent to our Sisters serving in Ukraine. Please continue your prayer for an end to this conflict which is endangering so many.
