The Vincentian Youth Meeting Panama 2019 aims to be a great family event that provides worldwide and national Vincentian pilgrims a space of coexistence, celebration and training. This meeting will take place at the Hogar San José de Malambo, a ministry of the Daughters of Charity that is about an hour from Tocumen International Airport.

VYM2019 will begin on Friday afternoon, January 18, and end on Monday, January 21, when we will join the activities of the WYD.

The motto chosen for this meeting is: “The joy of being Vincentian.

It will be developed throughout the 2 days, reflecting on the following topics:

  • “The joy of the Gospel in us, Vincentians.”
  • “Mary, mother of the poor”

We will have catechism by language during the two mornings of the meeting, and a workshop on the afternoon of the 19th. The idea is to energize the first day of catechesis with the inclusion of a workshop in the afternoon to motivate young people to propose creative ways of putting in practice the received in the catechesis of the morning, so they can take those proposals to their respective countries. In addition to the catechesis, we will have moments of celebration of faith and sharing of cultural events.
