Vincentian Family in Belgium

On Thursday, October 4, 2018, there was a meeting in Brussels of the National Council of the Vincentian Family in Belgium with Fr. Joseph Agostino, C.M. international coordinator of the Vincentian Family Office.  Guests at the meeting also included Fr. Emile Ghali, C.M. and Sr.  Donna Geerhaert, S.C., Sr. Clarette De Coene, General Superior of Gijzegem’s Sisters , Br. Broer Huitema, member of  FV Executive Committee.  Present from the Council were: Fr. Daniel Martello, national coordinator, Mrs Beatrix de Sauvage, Jacques Van Daele, Fr. André Luczak, C.M., Sr Myriam Casaert.

The purpose of the meeting was so that the Office could learn about the realities of the Vincentian Family in Belgium.  It also provided an opportunity to share with the Council the initiatives that are being undertaken internationally.

During the course of the meeting, there was a lively exchange of information and an exploration of various strategies to be undertaken to further develop the Family in Belgium.  Tentative plans were made for a meeting with the Flemish Superiors General in May 2019.
