VFCAP and SC Seminar in Indonesia, Day 3

September 13, Indonesia – Day 3 for the joint VFCAP – SC Seminar continued the discussion of Module 3. Fr. Joe Agostino, CM of the Vincentian Family Collaboration Commission led the discussion on Conflict Resolution. This was followed by three topics to enhance the participants to be systems thinkers: Systemic Thinking in a Nutshell, Successful Strategies and Transforming a Good Project into an SC Project by Rosa de Lima Ramanankavana, Sr. Teresa Kotturan, SCN and Jim Claffey respectively.

Fr. Gregorio L. Bañaga, Jr. CM, (Systemic Change Coordinator for Southeast Asia) introduced Module 4: A Vincentian is a Catalyst for Systemic Change (Re-Igniting) wherein the participants reflected on being mystics of charity, the value of prayer and allowing ourselves to learn from the poor through a mini-pastoral reflection. A concelebrated Mass led by Fr. Guiseppe Turati, CM concluded the day and a barbeque and socials allowed the participants to bond during the night.
