From February 1 to 4, JUCOVI (the Vincentian Coordinating Board of Colombia) met at the “Casa de Encuentros Santa Luisa de Marillac” (Chapinero, Bogotá) for their first meeting in 2018. The heads of all the branches were present, except those from SSVP and MISEVI.

Among the topics discussed were: the revision of the Conclusions of the IV Vicentian Family Assembly in Chinauta last year, the next FAVILA meeting in Cochabamba, the Superior General’s visit to Colombia this year, the motto of JUCOVI for 2018 on young people for the next Synod, presentation of the branches and their activities for 2018, the report of the Systemic Change Team by César Ramírez, among others.

A tribute dinner was also paid to Clara Inés Díaz, member of the Executive Committee of the International AIC, elected last year in Chatillon.

The next meeting of JUCOVI will be at the Provincial House of the Vincentian Missionaries from August 10 to 12, 2018, in which a new President will be elected.
