The recent SSVP assembly in Africa was full of hope. About 80 participants attended the event: in addition to the delegates of the continent, members of the International General Council as Dr. Michael Thio (President General Interntional), Brian O’Reilly (Vice President General), John Lee (Vice-President for the International Structure) were also present.

The program tackled various topics like spirituality, presentation of the international structure, the twinnings. Other more specific topics were discussed such as xenophobia, refugees, the place of Youth in the the Society.
