Please join us for our upcoming webinar, “understanding safeguarding and how it applies to our work in the Vincentian Family.

The session will aim to develop our understanding of terms like “safeguarding” – what does it mean? How we can take a practical approach to making our projects safe for the people that we serve?

We have two guest speakers joining us to share their experience and expertise on this topic. Corinne Davey (Safeguarding Consultant, GCPS Consulting) will begin the session by talking to us about key principles and approaches relevant to safeguarding, and how organizations can adapt these to their context.

We are also delighted to have Sr. Olivia Umoh (Daughters of Charity) as a guest, who will present about her experiences of safeguarding at the Safe Child Advocacy project in Ghana. We will have the opportunity to reflect on the relevance of faith to safeguarding, and time for questions and discussion with our guest speakers.
