Father Tomaž Mavrič, Superior General, has named Father José Antonio GONZÁLEZ PRIETO, Director General of the Company of the Daughters of Charity for a mandate of six years, replacing Father Bernard SCHOEPFER who ends his term.

Father José Antonio was born in 1967 in Colombia and entered the Congregation of the Mission there on 29 January 1989. He was ordained to the priesthood on 25 June 1995. He holds a degree in Philosophy from the Catholic Institute of Paris and in Theology from the Pontifical University of Salamanca. He presently is serving as Director of Students in Madrid, Spain. He has graciously and generously accepted this new service.
