These studies will be done online in order to facilitate the participation of individuals from diverse cultures and countries. Classes will be given in English and Spanish and will begin in September 2022 and continue until July 2024.
The Master’s Program will provide the Vincentian Family a path that will enable them to study Vincentian history and spirituality, will provide them with tools for their better understanding of this material and will provide them with the means for competency in pastoral animation as well as formation and accompaniment on behalf of the poor.
Objectives of the master’s degree in Vincentianism:
- Systematic deepening of one’s knowledge of the history and spirituality of the Vincentian charism, placing this knowledge in the context of the history of the church and the history of Christian spirituality as understood from the perspective of contemporary theology.
- Acquire tools and begin research on the Vincentian spiritual tradition, dialogue with various cultures and teamwork.
- Engage in an updated and contextualized reading of the sources of Vincentian heritage in dialogue with theological disciplines.
- Engage in pastoral ministry that encourages and accompanies others in service on behalf of the poor and in the missionary commitment of the Church.
