On April 22nd, the Executive Committee of the Vincentian Family (VFEC) held its second meeting this year. The primary concerns of the committee members were: homelessness and the pandemic.
During the meeting a Memorandum of Understanding between the Vincentian Family and DePaul International was approved. This was significant in light of the forward progress of the “13 Houses Campaign). There was also dialogue about the possibility of greater collaboration among the distinct branches of the Family in order to confront, in a more effective manner, the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Another matter for discussion focused on alternative ways of financing the Vincentian Family.
The next meeting of this group will take place in August. It should also be noted that in September there will be a virtual formation session on Vincentian Leadership that will be directed to the international leaders of the Vincentian Family.
