Philadelphia, PA – The newly established Vincentian Family Office in Philadelphia, Pa., USA, announces that international Vincentian Family leaders will meet in Rome during January 2016:
The annual meeting of the Vincentian Family Executive Committee (VFEC), composed of seven branches of the Vincentian Family, will meet in Executive Session beginning January 22 and conclude on January 24, 2016. In the past, members included leadership from the Congregation of the Mission, Daughters of Charity, Association of International Charity (AIC) and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. New leaders attending this meeting will include the Sisters of Charity Federation of Strasbourg, the Brothers of Mercy and the Sisters of Charity Federation of North America.
Immediately following the VFEC meeting will be the biennial meeting of the international leaders of the Vincentian Family. For the first time they will be joined by the coordinators of national Vincentian Family councils. Approximately 30 representatives will participate.
This year’s theme – Vincentian Family Collaboration – will also anticipate the 400th anniversary of the Vincentian charism in 2017. Included in the agenda will be a video on the theme of Collaboration as well as a keynote presentation by John Darley of DePaul International.
In addition, on January 25, the Vincentian Family Office will have its first meeting with representatives from 8 national Vincentian Family groups, forming from them an Advisory Committee to assist in the work of supporting the needs of national bodies.

The Vincentian Family Office, as a function of the Vincentian Family Executive Committee, coordinates activities, provides information, and delivers formation experiences on the heritage and charism of St. Vincent de Paul to the branches of the Vincentian Family (VF) throughout the world. This includes promoting communication and collaboration among the various branches of the Vincentian Family, as well as opportunities for leadership to meet and develop ways to work together.
