Dear members of the Vincentian Family, dear members of the Vincentian Family Movement,

It is a deep joy to be able to welcome all of you to the convocation that is getting ready to be prepared and executed from the 14th to the 17th of November 2024 in Rome. In fact, it is just a few months away.

We are 176 branches presently in the world, in 170 countries. I would like, and deeply desire, that the representatives of each of these 176 branches, plus other members of the Vincentian Family Movement, be here together, to be able– not just being tagged by social media, by the different instruments of communication– but to meet personally. And this is so important.
“To keep the fire burning, the Vincentian Synodality In Action” … it is to meet eye to eye; it is to meet heart to heart; it is to meet soul to soul.

St. Vincent de Paul said, love needs to be inventive until infinity. Love needs to be affective but also effective. And so, waiting for you with really deep eagerness, and do your utmost to participate, to be here in Rome in a few months’ time. And to show that we are really preparing with all our hearts, this encounter will be also a beautiful one with wonderful spiritual fruits. Here I can testify that we are getting ready, ready to welcome you; to embrace you, each one of you, as we will be meeting you, and to dream together.

Because, as we dream together, the dream becomes a reality. God bless you.
