The Vincentian Popular Missions in Cameroon

by | Jul 20, 2023 | News

From 10 to 16 April 2023, the Vincentian People’s Missions (MPV23) were held at Saint-Joseph Parish in NTUI, Diocese of Bafia, under the theme “Christian commitment today: come and follow me!” (Jn 20:21).

Under the direction of Father Merlin TABELA, CM, National Director of the Vincentian Popular Missions in Cameroon, the Missionaries – around sixty men and women religious and priests – stayed in NTUI for this vast evangelisation campaign. Their work consisted of visiting the sick, missionary walks, free health campaigns, conferences and teachings, and Eucharistic celebrations.

This year’s edition of the Vincentian Popular Missions was attended by Bishop Emmanuel Dassi Youfang, Bishop of Bafia, and the Visitor of the Vice-Province of Cameroon, who personally attended the closing ceremony.
