As the Vincent de Paul Society pivots from a charity-only model to one that also advocates for social justice and the systemic changes necessary to help those who are working hard to escape the vicious cycle of poverty they have partnered with the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, to produce Living in Poverty; Working for Justice.

Breakfast on the bus with Sister Marge

It’s a school bus that has been fitted with a small kitchen, running water and six tables. Three tables for two are on one side of the aisle and three slightly wider tables are on the other side. The Daughters of Charity are involved in the St. Vincent de Paul Mobile Kitchen.
