Vincentian Family

On March 25-26, more than 600 persons participated in this event during which time they offered prayers to Blessed Marta Wiecka, who has become known in the Ukraine and in many other places throughout the world.

Coming from a retreat on “Integral Ecology: Reclaiming our Eco-Human Spirituality” held at St. John’s University, I have been thinking that for our Vincentian family it will be important to have a new formation that connects contemplative and prophetic mysticism with our charism.

When the generalate offices of the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill were moved to the Pittsburgh Diocese it became a dream to have gatherings in Pennsylvania.

Visitors to the Vincentian Family website are obviously familiar with the concept of the Vincentian Family. But how many of us think of the Vincentian Family as a Movement?
