We work in hope at the UN. We hope the ambassadors of the Member States listen to the concerns we raise about the major issues humankind faces today.

Nearly 1 in 3 women have been abused in their lifetime. In times of crises, the numbers rise, as seen during the COVID-19 pandemic and recent humanitarian crises, conflicts and climate disasters.

Since January 2021, the “13 houses project” has been consolidated and, to a large extent, has been able to achieve its main objectives, namely, provide autonomy to the people housed in the homes we manage.

I recently participated in a panel discussion, part of a Business Ethics Conference sponsored by DePaul University, on religious charisms and the Common Good, with Dominican & Jesuit colleagues.
