Local Daughters of Charity in Mbandaka, Congo ensure prisoners receive nutrition, medications, toiletries, and spiritual care. The Sisters also provide ongoing education opportunities in languages (Lingala & French), math and religion.
National Assembly MISEVI Mexico
The National Assembly of MISEVI Mexico, held in Xochimilco, Mexico City, brought together over 24 members from different regions of the country to strengthen their commitment to evangelization and Vincentian spirituality. During the gathering, participants reflected on the mission of the laity, synodality, vocation as a call to serve, and the legacy of St. Vincent de Paul as an inspiration for building a more just world.
News from the Community Orchard in Yaoundé, Cameroon – Winner of the AIC Dominique Prize 2022
The community orchard project in Yaoundé, set up by 15 AIC volunteers as well as volunteer agricultural engineers and technicians, consists in creating and maintaining a nursery of 2,000 fruit trees (avocado, plum, orange and mandarin).
