Society of St. Vincent de Paul

To Be Face to Face with the Poor

We, as members of the Vincentian Family, have a great social responsibility. We have first-hand experience of the problems that afflict thousands of poor families.

The Boundless Dimension of Vincentian Charity

If we are not charitable (generous) in the manner that we act, then we will fall into the simple routine of philanthropy and/or providing material assistance … and nothing more.

Reality and Hope

These harsh realities sadden the hearts of the members of the Society and the Vincentian Family. We cannot, however, lose hope that the situation will improve.

The Commandment of Love

As members of the Vincentian Family we need to savor the inexhaustible well-spring of virtue and the examples of holiness of our predecessors.
