Vincentian Family Gathering in Papua New Guinea, 13th – 15th of April
The gathering was held on the 13 – 15th of April at Brown River. The participants were comprised of Association of the Miraculous Medal (AMM) and Vincentian Marian Youth (VMY) members from 14 mile, Laloki, Sabusa, Goldie and Brown River Substations of the Holy Name of Jesus Parish.

The mission of the Children of Mary, and its successor the Vincentian Marian Youth Movement, was confided by God to St. Catherine Labouré, by way of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s apparitions. This week in 1847, Pontifical approval of the Children of Mary was obtained.
