After the dramatic events of last year as the suffering caused by wars, natural disasters, and famine was compounded by the pandemic of COVID-19, our faith calls us to live this new year 2021 in hope, even in situations that are, humanly speaking, hopeless.

The SSVP’s President General is taking part in a UN panel to discuss the benefits of digital technology at the service of the homeless.

At the entrance to St. Vincent’s Sharing Center Hanulmaru in Suwon-si city in South Korea, a catchphrase greets visitors: “If we empty ourselves, God will soon fill it for you (Saint Vincent).”

The VFEC has emphasized that the Famvin Homeless Alliance (FHA), of which the 13 Houses Project is a part, is our unique common project in the area of charity. Therefore, it must be promoted enthusiastically within the Vincentian Family to reach each member’s heart so that everyone becomes a part of this common initiative.
