As a Vincentian Family looking back on our history, we can marvel at how God’s will was revealed to Elizabeth Ann Seton in a series of well-timed events and encounters.

Reflection on this story from my past history as a missionary has helped me to grasp more fully the understanding of Advent as the great mystery which leads us to the celebration of the Incarnation of Christ at Christmas. By Fr. Gregory Gay, C.M.

As a dedicated mother, the leader of a new religious community, and a teacher of children and young people, Elizabeth related to Mary’s motherhood… Mary was the role model for the Sisters of Charity.

On November 13 we will celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Agostina Pietrantoni, an Italian Sister of Charity of St. Joan Antida.
