Congregation of the Mission

To give the younger generation a chance to find out what the vocation of a Brother is all about, Brother Martin Schneider, C.M. graciously granted an interview in which he talks about his life, vocation, and ministry.

The Common Rules and the Constitutions of the Congregation of the Mission were printed in 1658 and Vincent distributed copies to the missionaries at an emotional ceremony on the 17th of May.

It turns out that the cradle of the cinematograph is neither France nor the United States, but Spain. And the genius who contributed to the birth of motion pictures was a Vincentian priest, Fr. Mariano Díez Tobar, CM.

A cattle breeding project sponsored by the Vincentian Solidarity Office, is an example of systemic change for the improvement of the pastoral care of parishioners at the various mission stations, and the betterment of the lives of the “campesinos,” peasants.
