Vincentian Family at the U.N.

“Making the UN relevant for all” is the overarching theme for new UN General Assembly  (GA) President, Maria Fernanda Espinosa Garces, of Ecuador.

The 2019 Commission on Social Development will feature an emerging theme which relates to how youth, older persons, and persons with disabilities are affected by conflict and both man-made and natural disasters. 

The Gift Box is a tool primarily used to raise awareness and introduce people to the issue of human trafficking – through photographs and survivor stories.

The Vincentian Family takes advantage of its NGO status at the UN to speak its truth about its experience with people suffering from unsheltered homelessness and lack of access to adequate housing.
