Part two of four on Almsgiving…a reflection on a full article by Ozanam, which is among Frederic’s most outstanding.
Texts by Ozanam
Over the next four weeks we are going to reflect on a full article by Ozanam, which is among Frederic’s most outstanding. On Almsgiving, Part 1.
Ozanam says, This [social] order rests on two virtues, justice and charity, Love and charity: are they the same? How do we try to promote justice?
The couple was generous with their alms. “Almsgiving was not a duty for him, but a great honor.”
It is important that we see in this primitive text of Ozanam the passion preserved throughout his life when defending his convictions.

Do we use music, as a means of evangelization, in our group, branch, parish, etc? Should we?
Am I convinced that the first and most important thing is charity, and without it nothing else makes sense?
Three weeks after the birth of his daughter, Ozanam wrote this precious prayer, My Three Angels, to the Virgin Mary. It is worth reading and rereading it.
