As a Vincentian Family, we know the close ties that we have with those who are poor among us.  A DNA test might reveal that it is not just a matter of the spirit but also of the blood.

Growing up, those not familiar with my family would frequently confuse our names.  I confess to some annoyance when someone got my name wrong.

All of us remember the children’s game, “follow the leader” – a “leader” guides a group through a series of actions and adventures that others would imitate
