by | Jul 3, 2021 | Formation, Reflections

New videos coming each month…

In 1793, Elizabeth Ann Seton met a dashing man who sweetly called her his dear “Eliza.” That man, William Magee Seton, became the husband Elizabeth dearly loved.

Discover the quintessential love story of Elizabeth Ann Seton and her husband, William, by clicking above to watch the Seton Shrine’s new video in the Seeker to Saint series, “Storybook Romance.”

Seeker to Saint is part of the Seton Shrine’s year-long commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Mother Seton’s passing into heaven. Each month, a new short video about an aspect of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s life and legacy will be released.

Each video will be accompanied by a background article. For “Storybook Romance,” we have an interview with Stephanie Calis, founder and editor-in-chief of Spoken Bride, a wedding ministry for Catholic brides. In the interview, Mrs. Calis discusses the timelessness of love stories and the connection between modern-day love stories unfolding around us now and the sweet love story of Saint Elizabeth Ann and William Magee Seton.
