The Pope Consecrates Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

“At this dark hour, the Church is urgently called to intercede before the Prince of Peace and to demonstrate her closeness to those directly affected by the conflict.”

The Vincentian Family Prays for Peace and Joins in the Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Heart of Mary

On Friday, March 25, during the celebration of Reconciliation that he will preside over at 5:00 p.m. in St. Peter’s Basilica, Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

“Forgive us for War, O Lord”

The hostilities in Ukraine are not something new: in 2014 in the eastern part of the country, there were hostile activities between the pro-Russian forces and the Ukrainians. During that year and in the following years, thousands of lives were lost.

A Call to Prayer

We invite the worldwide Vincentian Family to again join in prayer with the Church for peace in Ukraine.
